I'm so exhausted in such a great way. I've had the pleasure of coaching some amazing young wrestlers in the Kansas City area these past few months and nothing makes me happier. Yes, the glitz and glam of New York City and speaking engagements is fun, but it's not as rewarding as seeing these middle and high school kids show up every single day to get their asses whipped in the wrestling room and keep coming back. The progress they've made mentally and physically is astounding. Some of these kids are already state champs and the high school team is a three-time defending state champ team and yet these kids are still so humble and still come to the room every day and are hungry for advice and input and strategies and stories. They love stories.

And it's all so incredible to watch. And even more incredible to be a part of.  I feel extremely lucky  to be a part of such a great program.  Not just one that churns out great wrestlers, but one that molds these kids into decent young men with values and respect and a tough mental attitude. All the things that I think are necessary to succeed in life. I can't wait to see what these kids do on and off the mat in the next few years.

I'm so blessed.
